Racing Weekend of July 30, 1999

The Stewart Motorsports Sprint Car Racing Team traveled to LimaLand Motorsports Park on Friday, July 30, for a NRA sanctioned sprint car race.

In the first heat race, JR finished 6th, which was not a transfer spot to the A-main. Starting on the pole in the B-main, JR was able to hold on to his 1st place position, through 12 laps and only on caution.

JR started 15th in the feature. Just 5 laps in to the race, a car spun in turn 4, collecting JR and ended his night.
