Racing Weekend of April 14, 2000

Stewart Motorsports had a very successful weekend in Racing. On Friday, April 14, the team traveled to the newly remodeled LimaLand Motorsports Park. The #37s Sprint Car started tail of the 3rd heat race, and finished 5th, which transferred him to the A-Main. Starting 13th, J.R. had a near miss with a bouncing, spinning, flipping, out-of-control, sprint car driven by Aaron Call. J.R. survived the caution filled Feature Event, in 7th place.

Eldora Speedway, was the site of Saturday nights race. J.R. started tail of the 1st heat race, and finished 4th, which was a transfer position into the A-Main Event. J.R. started in 8th position in the 25 lap, A-Main. The race was highlighted by a 4-car battle for the 4th position. J.R. fought his way to an impressive 5th place finish.
