On another windy and cool day the Kansas City Rugby Football Club came out victorous again. City opened the half with impressive scrums and scoring early. The defense held well enough to only allow Springfield to score off of City mistakes. Half-time score was 15-10 in favor of KCRFC
The second half turnded out to be a carbon copy of the first half seeing KCRFC playing well in spurts and the defense only given up scores due to City mistakes. Tim Davies foot proved to be very valuable as he sent many penalty kicks to touch to allow KCRFC to have excellent field postion. Full-time score 27-22 KCRFC.
Man of the match was Tony Buckley.

With a very experienced second side KCRFC showed its dominance right off the bat punching in tries with in the first couple of minutes. Hard rucking and support play again was the name of the game along with good defense. KCRFC led at the half 24-0.
The second half was a carbon copy of the first half with exception that tries were scored at center post to enable conversions to be made. Unfortunately, the Des Moines club forced one try over late in half to avoid the shut out. KCRFC came right back down though and scored again. Excellent job 52-7.
