KCRFC showed up for the game with the initial intensity to play the match. City marched down the field and Fly half Mark Dunning made a penalty kick with a few minutes off the clock. It was then all St. Louis Bombers until half. City showed bits and pieces of good rugby but the speed of St. Louis Fullback and Wings proved to much for the City Defense. St. Louis Bombers 31-3 at half.
The second half ended up as more of the same and St. Louis to advantage of each and every mistake. The lone bright spot was with 5 minutes left the City pack blasted weakside several times that ended in a try by Hooker Hoyt Moore and a tough angled conversion by Dunning. 72-10 Final.
