Tablecloths

A hobby for many years and very time consuming....
You can click on each one to see them in larger scale.......
I worked  for months to complete every one for two to three hours each night.

Butterflies Alighting.  A rectangular tablecloth, 50" x 68".  I made it yellow and I am using it on my kitchen table.  I used a smaller hook to give it an different look.

Rose Garden. Round tablecloth, 64".  I love this pattern and I am working on a third one.  The roses are very well defined and it looks so good on a 48" round table, a popular one.

Big Blossoms. Round tablecloth, 50". This one I made it in pastel colours, apple green with yellow flowers.  I crocheted this one for a friend to match his room colours.

Cherry Jubilee. White tablecloth, 72" with red cherries and green leaves.  This tablecloth was an exercise of patience as it took a good four months to get the part with the fruits done.  The center was easy since the pattern is always the same up to the colour changes.  I don't think I will make another one like this in the near future.

Full Blown Roses. Round tablecloth, 44". Smaller than the other ones and rather easy to make.  I made this one for a friend.

Table Topper. Rectangular tablecloth, 45" x 83". Can be the size you need as it is done in sections.  I gave this one to a young woman for her wedding gift.

Radiant Rainbow. Round doily, 24".  This is a complexe projet as you have to string 2260 coloured pearls before starting to crochet.  Wow!!...  It took me a good four days just to figure out how to get the pearls on the thread and to get the colours in order.  I made a drawing with coloured pencils on lined paper.  What a challenge.  And since I love challenges, I made three like this one.

Wondrous Weave. Table center, 30" x 21". I needed a center bigger than what the picture shows, three squares by four.  If you look closely at the picture, you will see the pearls where the bands meet.  Many hours over a week to get this projet done just to sew the pearls.  I gave this one to my sister as a wedding gift.

Colonial Lifestyle. Large tablecloth, 50" x 100". Many ways to crochet to give it a different texture.  The sides follow the pattern.  Look very good over a coloured satin texture.  I worked many months to complete this projet.
