Upon this night of sad repose,
chastened by mortal plough.
A world pales in heartless glow,
shadowed brushes freedom from my soul.
Flee to quick repair,
in sweet life honey of music's
breast!
Shedding all grief of the sad affair,
like a baby cuddled in music's nest.
Divine elixir rains from heaven above,
flight of soul on the wings of freedoms bird,
Glide hastily into lights of love,
as an eagle from the nest.
