hey man, we needed the cash
A nice little ditty by rick about how to obtain large amounts of cash and why it's not our fault. It should here be mentioned that this is probably the only lagomorphs song to date that features a bona fide riff. Almost all of our work in the lead guitar area consists of just dinkering about in the right scale to the beat. This song has a set riff to be played at a certain time. It's really rather scary.
Judah has recurring nightmares about it.
Most of the lyrics were written during algebra. So was the guitar which mostly explains why the rhythm never quite figures itself out. Rick thinks it adds character. Judah thinks Rick needs a nice white jacket. But they both love playing the song when they don't totally fuck it up.
BTW, Rick would like to thank Matt Jecha for coming up with part of this song. Rick was writing the concept at school and Matt Jecha joked about not being able to get a loan application through and Rick dug it. Thanks Matt Jecha
