Ok, the scoop on this one. This song was written for our friend Natalie who asked us to write a song about her. We were then toying with the idea of writing a love song about the 50ft bastard daughter of godzilla. The two ideas collided in the middle of the night after we had been listening to far too much dead milkmen. It was written and recorded in about 3 hours. If that. The song has had bits improved upon over time and has turned into a pretty hep little tune featuring Rick singing and on guitar and Judah playing bass. There has on occasion been a variety of kicking lead guitars set to this song but none have as yet been decided upon to stay with it.
This song has changed a lot since it was first written and recorded but it remains one of the bands favorites and no matter what form it decides to take (we think it arbitrarilly decides based on the weather and chaos theory in regards to stock prices) it still kicks ass and holds up that certain "she's my lizard, fuck you all" attitude that we love so dearly.
Anyway, it's a sweet song and probably the only love song ever written:
