Dartmouth, b. in Dartmouth 18 March 1687 (Sandwich Town Records; Vital
Records of Dartmouth, Mass.). Joanna (Pope) Hathaway’s
brother Isaac Pope was the husband of Alice Freeman for whom her
sister Rachel (Freeman) Landers’ daughter was undoubtedly
