Her father’s deed to her brother Benjamin, dated 1723, makes the grantee responsible for payment of a legacy of £5 and this sum was evidently paid at the time of her marriage as this legacy is not mentioned in the 1732 deed when her two sisters Deborah and Jane are named as still due like amounts.
