The Emerald Isle

Ten Days - August 3-12, 1998

Newsletter #3 - May 6, 1998 ....................................... 89 days and counting!

(This is simply an update of Newsletters #1 & #2 which were posted on December 17,1997 and March 2,1998.)

Newsletter Update

We have simply updated the March newsletter to include the names of several new participants, bringing our final total to 20. As you may know, May 5 was a benchmark date in the tour planning: the 90 day cut off date for payment and final signups. I want to thank all of you for being so conscientious regarding the deadline. I checked with EF yesterday and our accounts are almost 100% up to date. One or two of you will be advised concerning any minor discrepancies.

If you haven't contacted the Irish Tourist Bureau for free maps and brochures of the venues we plan to visit, I recommend that you do so immediately.

Enclosed you will find a feedback sheet which I would appreciate having returned in the enclosed envelope within the next few days, but no later than May 29.

Some of you have asked about options for getting to the Newark Airport. We will discuss this at our first orientation session on June 27. It is our intention to work with you on car pool possibiliities, long term parking options in the Newark airport area, and possible shuttle service for the group.

Don't forget to check my web site for detailed information on our itinerary and for interesting links to other sites, and also for information about our three tours for 1999. They're filling fast. The address again: www.laufer-world.com. Once you are there, click on the "International Travel" line, then take your pick of the tours to explore.
