Enjoy a video of their HOB performance here in Chicago back in April 2000 by clicking here. It is really a great show - complete with a prom dance. Listen to an archived HOB concert from November 99 in LA by clicking here.

Andrew Birds' Bowl of Fire
I'm a huge fan of the fiddle player Andrew Bird and his various musical groups.

New City says "After hearing Bird playing the violin for just two minutes, you'll realize that the devil went down to Georgia for a fiddling contest because he realized if he'd gone north, Andrew Bird would have left him crying in the gutter."

Andrew Bird and the Bowl of Fire are fans of Jump, Little Children, so they must be geniuses and you MUST love them. All the Jumpies return the favor by being huge fans of ABBOF, especially Evan - he loves that drummer Kevin! So do I! He has another band, Quality 6 (buy their CD 'Control Freak'- it's le jazz hot baby!!) and he's in Red Elephant, so he is greatly in demand - and justifiably so. He's also the founding member of and dancer with and composer for the mad shak Dance Company here in Chicago - does this renaissance man ever sleep???

ABBOF have 5 CDs, and Bird's first solo album has just been re-released. A new album is in the works for spring 2004.
Keep up to date about most things by clicking here. You can also find out about Quality 6 there.

Tour Dates Here - not enough of them, however!
