Tourin': Floyd is touring?!? Cities blessed are San Diego (the Old Globe), Philadelphia, Chicago, and, hopefully, Brooklyn, NY, all in 1999. Apparently, some original cast may even travel with the show!

Got Guettel Covered: Brian d'Arcy James recently covered "How Glory Goes" at the Speakeasy Benefit, Audra McDonald is doing some Saturn Returns on her upcoming album (Due out Sept. 15, according to Playbill Online, which includes "Come to Jesus" and three other Guettel songs), and rumor has it, a recording of Saturn is in the works.

Love's Composer: Adam Guettel composed the music for John Guare's piece, "The General of Hot Desire", part of Love's Fire, which played off-Bway at the Public Theatre, NYC.

Floyd Bulletin: The Goodman Theatre, Chicago has announced Floyd Collins in May for its 1999 season. The Goodman is a Tony Award winning house that does one musical a year--often revivals such as Play On! in the 1998 season and new musicals--the Canadian House Of Martin Guerre and Another Midsummer Night.

As of July 21, 1998, Is that Remarkable? Is that Incredible? I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
