ADAM GUETTEL (Composer/Lyricist). Adam's recent credits include a full length operatic version of A Christmas Carol at Trinity Repertory Theatre on which he collaborated with Tina Landau; The Fourth Woman and Dream and Variations with director Randolyn Zinn; and the score for the CBS documentary "Jack," about President John F. Kennedy. He is the recipient of the Stephen Sondheim Award and was recently awarded a Revson Commission from Playwrights Horizons. Adam is working on a new piece to be developed here.

The New York Shakespeare Festival will present Saturn Returns: A Concert at the Public Theatre's LuEster Hall starting March 24th. This song cycle is by Guettel and directed by Tina Landau.

Got Guettel Covered: Brian d'Arcy James recently covered "How Glory Goes" at the Speakeasy Benefit, Audra McDonald is doing some Saturn Returns on her upcoming album (Due out Sept. 15, according to Playbill Online, which includes "Come to Jesus" and three other Guettel songs), and rumor has it, a recording of Saturn is in the works.
