Once upon a time there lived a duckling

Bunny lived in a mushroom house

just up the path, LOOK!"

All his friends came running up the path.
Everybody crowded around . "We could use these for easter eggs" said
"I don't think so, these are pretty valuable!"

The four friends decided that they would find out who's gems these belonged to. They walked down the path
and came upon a beautiful field of 
sunflowers. They knew the lady that worked in
the sunflower garden. said, "Wait here and I will fly
over the sunflower garden and see if I can find the Lady Fay.
The flew over the garden and found Lady Fay. Lady Fay came walking out of
the garden and saw her friends. Lady Fay said, "hi friends, what is the matter?" The four friends held out their hands and
showed Lady Fay the . They said "Do these belong to you?" Lady Fay said "no, I'm sorry
they don't belong to me." "Ok, said the four, we are going to keep looking for who they belong to!" And off they went, waving
to Lady Fay as they continued down the path.
The said, "Let's go to the 
maybe Ms. Sondra knows who these belong to."
So the four friends entered the General Store of the Old West. Behind the counter was Ms. Sondra. She said, "Howdy friends, did you come to buy some 
?"
The four friends laughed! "Ms. Sondra, they said, have you ever seen a bunny, a chick, a bird, or a duckling wear boots?" Ms. Sondra replied as she giggled
"Well you know there is always a first time! Hey!, How about a cowboy 
!" The looked at the pretty cowboy and thought he
would look good in it. (hehehe picture it, the red feather even matches his red bow). spoke up, "Ms. Sondra, do you know who these belong to?" Ms. Sondra looked at the gems each of them
had in their hands. "hmmmmm, she said, I don't know who those gems belong to, I have never seen them before." "Ok thank you, said the four friends, we are going to have to go and see who
these belong to." The four friends walked out of the and down the path, waving to Ms. Sondra as she stood at the door.
said, "Hey, let's go visit my friend 
Alexandra. She is probably practicing her 
ballet."
The and walked on down the path to visit with Alexandra. When they got to Alexandra's she wasn't practicing her , she was
writing another story about

and smiled. "Hi everyone!" she said. They all smiled back at her and said "Hiya Alexandra, we are trying to solve a mystery! We found these

. They walked up on the porch and knocked on the door.

them into the . They all stepped into the parlor and a lot of baby mice were playing with blocks

been searching for the owner all day." said . "Hmmmmm this IS a mystery," said .
