We as the kids of the United States should remember all the men and women who fought for US! Yes they fought for us, and that is why we have the freedoms we have today. What can we do as kids? You could write a story or poem about Memorial Day. You could do research on Memorial Day and write a report. I know, I know, school is out in most places pretty soon. But... if you did research on this holiday and wrote a report, or a poem, or a story about it, you would learn something. Ask your parents or your grandparents about Memorial Day. Ask a Veteran about Memorial Day!
