This was a really neat museum. The first part of the museum was Mr. Ringlings paintings he had collected throughout the years. He had always wanted to have a museum of paintings. The second part of the museum is the Circus Museum. This was so cool!!

In the circus museum they had all of the costumes worn by the performers. They even had Emmet Kelly's costume behind glass. Do you know who Emmet Kelly is?? He is a VERY famous clown and he worked for the Ringling brothers.

You should have seen the Circus Wagons. They were gorgeous! They had wonderful artwork on them, it was 3 D artwork. In the very back room of the circus museum there was a circus set up in miniature! It was very cool. The big tents were miniature, and even where the circus performer's ate in the Mess Tent they had little itty bitty tiny plates and knives and forks on the tables, even little tiny table clothes! I bet this took a whole lot of work to make!

When the circus performers would travel they took everything with them. They even had a wagon with all the things you would need to shoe horses, fix saddles. It was like a town on wheels! They had cooks and people to fix the tents and people to feed all the animals, it took a lot of people!!

The best part of the museum I liked was about a woman who was a trick rider! She started riding horses when she was six years old. Her costume was behind glass. She could somersault from one horse to another, and she could do this forward or backwards! Isn't that amazing??
