Writing has always been one of my hobbies - I wrote my first complete story when I was 9, and was first published when I was 18. Over the years, I have written anything from speeches to press releases to advertisements to how-to booklets to course manuals to complete educational courses to articles in all manner of fields... but my favourite activity has always been fiction writing.
Here are a couple of samples of my full-length fiction writing. Firstly, the first chapter of a novel entitled The Early Days of Giradoux - a story set in the not too distant future. Not really scifi as such, this story deals with the independence (or otherwise) of the human mind.
Next the first significant chapter of Monique, a novel set in the artists' milieu of Paris in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
