In Crete there are hundreds of beautiful gorges,
most of them hardly ever visited by tourists.
They are very romantic between mai and july,
because of the blossoming oleander.
Many of them end in lovely, lonely beaches.
So its nice to have a walk through a gorge
and go bathing afterwards
It
has become a hobby of mine to look for 'new'
gorges
and find out whether it is possible to walk
through them.
