To whomever it may concern;
Hello. I am a fan of the syndicated television series Swans Crossing which Sachs produced and/or distributed in 1992. Swans Crossing was a serial following the lives of twelve teenagers which was taped in New York. As you know, Swans Crossing was cancelled after a three-month run due to monetary problems and low ratings (because of its poor time slot). I am writing to you because I feel the series was ended insufficiently. The message that appeared in the final episode, "To be continued.... Let us hear from you!" was not followed by an address, telephone number, or some other type of contact. I was willing to reply to this message, but I had no idea how to get in touch with you. As a dedicated fan of Swans Crossing, I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with the lack of closure to the series. In my mind, Swans Crossing is still "To be continued" as stated in the closing message. There were many cliffhangers in the final episode and I have been waiting for resolutions to them for a long time.
I have noticed that several of the stars on Swans Crossing have become quite popular in the entertainment industry after the series' demise. Some of them are appearing in critically acclaimed films and even starring in their own television shows. Because of the growing popularity of its performers, Swans Crossing has been gaining recognition from people who are curious to see the past work the stars did on the show. Swans Crossing itself was a well-liked and popular series in 1992 and many fans are still wondering why it was discontinued so abruptly. I think it would be highly beneficial if you would consider producing a series finale or something of the sort to tie up all the loose ends fans were left with and provide a suitable closure to the series. Alternatively, at the very least, I urge you to consider airing repeats of Swans Crossing at an adequate time slot by distributing the series to more networks.
Swans Crossing was an original, well-written television show and there is definitely no other teenage series quite like it on the air currently. I feel that a big mistake was made in cutting off the production of it. Once again, I ask you to please consider giving this television show another chance by producing a series conclusion which would be greatly appreciated by all of the Swans Crossing fans who are still out there. Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
