As one of the executive producers of *"Swans Crossing,"* Ned Kandel,
42, is responsible for the daily production of the new live-action serial
developed for pre-teens and teens.
Kandel has been an independent producer since 1981 operating Kandel
Enterprises Inc. from his Manhattan office. He has extensive experience in
television and children's entertainment programming having produced the
critically-acclaimed "Encyclopedia Brown" series for Home Box Office, as
well as three movies for the Disney Channel.
Kandel's current projects in production include "Criss Cross," a
teen comedy series for Showtime, and "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" an
anthology of spooky stories for Nickelodeon.
A native New Yorker and avid sports fan, Kandel was previously vice
president of programming at CBS/MGM Home Video and was a sports producer at
a major cable network.
Kandel earned his B.A. in film from Boston University in 1971, and
in 1976 earned his M.B.A. in finance and marketing at Columbia University,
New York.
He currently resides in Manhattan with his wife and 14 year-old son.

Mardee Kravit is one of the two executive producers and the head
writer for the new daily live-action serial *"Swans Crossing."* She won
several awards for her work on the Emmy award-winning ABC serial "Ryan's
Hope", and has served as creative consultant for network daytime television.
She also wrote the ABC Afterschool Special, "Class Act," and has written
other programs for television and film.
A native of Milwaukee, Kravit resides in Manhattan with her husband
and their seven and five-year-old sons.

A native of Fair Lawn, N.J., Kristy has done voiceovers and appeared
in several national television commercials. She has appeared on stage in
"Sleeping Beauty" and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" with the
Radbury Players.
The youngest of four children, Kristy has two cats and enjoys piano,
skiing, swimming, and sailing -- though during one outing her boat flipped
over and she had to swim all the way back to shore!

Tom's credits include radio and TV commercials, in addition to a
recurring role on daytime's "One Life to Live." He also played the lead
character in the award-winning N.Y.U. student film, "12."
Born in Philadelphia, Tom was raised on a farm in Pennsylvania where
his parents raise Hanoverians and Quarterhorses. (It should come as no
surprise that he loves riding horses.) He has won awards for acting in
school and during a summer spent at Stagedoor Manor.
Tom enjoys golf, juggling, and performing card tricks. He is a
classic car enthusiast and dreams of owning a 1968 Ford GT 40 Sports Racing
Coupe.
An only child, Tom maintains a solid grade point average in high
school and hopes to attend Yale University.

A print model with many commercials to her credit, this Texas native
has been involved in theater with the Bradley Players and has appeared in
shows at Sea World Texas.
Carisa is committed to environmental and political issues and has
been actively involved with pollution control, animal rights and "mother
earth" awareness groups in school.
The youngest of three children, Carisa loves riding horses on her
family's ranch near San Antonio. She also enjoys dance, roller and ice
skating and swimming.

Brittany's extensive modeling career has included plenty of print
and commercial work. She has been featured in Sassy, YM, Seventeen, Teen
Beat and Teen. And, with her identical twin Cynthia, she has appeared in the
Doublemint Gum campaign.
Brittany was a recurring guest on the six-year television series
"The New Leave it to Beaver."
A native of Gainesville, Fla., Brittany is hopeful of earning
varsity letters in volleyball and tennis, and also enjoys swimming, sailing,
and water skiing.

Devin entered show business as a member of the cast of "Our Town" on
Broadway. He has since appeared in NBC's "Unsolved Mysteries" as well as in
many commercials.
The athletic Devin has played ice hockey since age six, earning
all-league honors in eighth grade while playing in his hometown of
Larchmont, N.Y. He is also a competitive swimmer, plays lacrosse, and enjoys
skateboarding.
The youngest of eight children, Devin has three newphews and one
niece. His interests include playing guitar, writing, and history (Devin is
a Civil War buff!)

Before being selected for the cast of *"Swans Crossing,"* Evan
graced the stage in "The Dolphin Position" and "The Rothschilds," the latter
of which ran for 13 months.
A sports enthusiast, Evan enjoys everything from baseball and soccer
to archery and snorkeling. His interests include collecting comic books,
reading science fiction novels and drawing -- he once won a savings bond for
drawing a peace poster at school!
Evan resides in Armonk, N.Y., with his mother, father and older
brother.

Already a veteran of T.V., film, and stage, Sarah most recently
played the role of Molly in the original cast of Neil Simon's Broadway play,
"Jake's Women," and young Jacqueline Bouvier in the NBC miniseries "A
Woman Named Jackie."
The Manhattan native has appeared with Matthew Broderick and Eric
Stoltz in "The Widow Claire" at New York's Circle Theater, and with Sally
Kirkland and Robert Lupone in the movie "High Stakes." Among her television
credits are appearances on "Spenser: For Hire," "Love, Sidney," and "The
David Letterman Show," in addition to daytime dramas and over 100
commercials.
Figure skating is among Sarah's many varied interests -- a self-
choreographed routine earned her a bronze medal in a recent regional
competition.

Kristen appeared as Baby Louise opposite Tyne Daly in "Gypsy" on
Broadway and in the national tour for its entire two-year run. Her talents
are featured on the musical's original cast recording.
Among her additional credits includes "Ask Me Again" on PBS'
American Playhouse. Kristen has also performed cabaret and has lent her
talents to many benefits for children, including _World Works - U.N. Year of
the Child_ and _Broadway Cares_.
Kristen enjoys dance and piano -- her favorite piano piece is "On
My Own" from "Les Miserables."
A native of Freeport, N.Y., Kristen's hobbies include hula-hooping
(she can hoop for hours non-stop!), and ice and roller skating.

In addition to many commercials, Shane has appeared on MTV's "The
Colin Quinn Show" and as the title guest star in an episode of "The
Babysitters Club."
Hailing from Spring, Texas (near Houston), Shane's interests include
gymnastics -- he placed 15th in the National Junior Olympics gymnastics
competition -- diving, swimming and skateboarding. He also loves to ski and
is hopeful of taking trips to Squaw Valley, Calif., or Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Raised in Chesapeake, Va., Stacey relocated to New York at age 10 to
play the lead in the Darien Dinner Theater's production of "Annie." Stacey's
extensive theater credits include "Johnny Pie and the Footkiller" at New
York City's Lamb Theater; the world premiere of "The Secret Garden" at the
Wells Theater; and "The Knife," with Mandy Pantinkin.
Stacey has also appeared in Oliver Stone's "Born on the Fourth of
July," the motion picture "Alan and Naomi," and the ABC Afterschool Special
"Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great," in addition to numerous commercials
and voice-overs.
Stacey enjoys singing, swimming and "going to the beach."

Already a seasoned professional, Eddie has appeared in numerous
theater productions, including "The Merry Wives of Windsor" at the Folger,
and most recently in "Much Ado About Nothing" at the Shakespeare Theater in
Lansburgh. He has also been seen on "The Cosby Show."
Born in Portsmouth, Va., Eddie has lived in Washington, D.C. for the
past five years with his parents and seven-year-old sister Eugenia.
In his spare time, Eddie likes to write, read and listen to all
kinds of music, but above all, Eddie says he likes to eat!

Alex is an ambitious young man with quite a sense of humor.
He made his television debut in a Macy's commercial _(He watches *a
lot* of television!)_ and played Mercutio in his school's version of
"Hamlet" _(He still recites lines in the shower!)_, but Alex didn't realize
that his future would include an acting career until completing a five-week
acting course at Yale University _(He heard there would be good-looking
girls there!)_.
His favorite outdoor activity is skiing, though he had "an intimate
confrontation with a tree" his first time on the slopes.
Alex, who plans to attend N.Y.U., lives in Huntington, N.Y.
