Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that at Orleans Technical Institute, we are
starting a part-time day program on November 1, 1999 for our Computerized
Office Technology diploma program. This is a grant eligible program that is
Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. for eight months. If a person is
low-income, unemployed, or on DPA and not in student loan default, the grant
will cover the entire tuition. We are also able to provide community service
worksites for DPA clients who need one while attending. The program is
comprised of comprehensive computer software and business training. Upon
completion, students are assisted with job placement. A high school diploma
is not required as long as someone passes the entrance test. This is an
excellent opportunity for a free education. At Orleans, we are always
looking for new and creative ways to improve the quality of life for people
who are motivated and want a chance. Lowering the tuition of this program to
make it funded through grants is how we did it this time!
If you have anyone interested, please call me directly at (215) 728-4712.
Best regards,
Bonnie Kassof
