Garlic-Pepper Pork Chops

Another easy to make barbecue recipe. Marinate the pork the night before, and you can come home from work the next day to an outstanding pork barbecue.

 

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, about 1/2-inch thick
  • 6 to 15 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
 

Directions

  1. Prepare the marinade: mix the garlic, lime juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, vegetable oil, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Marinate the pork chops in a sealable plastic bag at least one hour or overnight.
  3. Cook the pork chops over medium-hot coals on a barbecue about 3 minutes per side or until no longer pink in center. Do not overcook. Serve immediately
