Soy-grilled Tuna Steaks

We first used this recipe 25 years ago - and we still use it because it's so tasty.


 

Ingredients

  • 4-6 tuna steaks
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or 1/3 cup French or Italian dressing)
  • 2 teaspoons meat seasoning (or 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
 

Directions

  1. Use steaks about 1-inch thick. Combine all ingredients and marinate the steaks in a sealable plastic bag for at least 30 minutes, preferably for several hours or even over night.
  2. Grill steaks over medium-hot coals for about 10-15 minutes, turning once and brushing often with marinade.

Yield: 6 servings.
