Ingredients
- 8 ounces (Barilla)
Penne or Mostaccioli pasta
- 1 tablespoon
olive or vegetable oil
- 1 each
red, green and yellow bell pepper, cut into long, thin strips
- 1 jar (26
ounces) (Barilla) Marinara Pasta Sauce
- 2 tablespoons
grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Cook
penne according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile,
heat olive oil in large skillet. Add bell peppers; cook and stir over
high heat 1 minute. Reduce heat; stir in pasta sauce.
- Cook
5 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Pour
pepper mixture over hot drained penne. Sprinkle with cheese.
Makes
6 to 8 servings
Variation:
Add 1 cup coarsely chopped pepperoni with the pasta sauce.
