Two Mustang players were selected by the CFL to attend their 1999 Evaluation Camp in Winnipeg. Mike Abou-Mechrek, OL and Dan Disley, WR, were among 24 other CIAU players and 42 in total.

The camp features top Canadian-born players from schools in both Canada and the U.S. Also invited were five players from the Canadian Junior Football League. Invitee's must be eligible for the CFL's Canadian College Draft which is scheduled for April 13.
