Western Fans Pick Their Favourites
As part of The Final Season celebrations fans were asked to vote for their 12 favourite all-time Mustang players. After all votes were compiled, the list turned out 13 players because of a tie. Since this was a popularity poll, and not necessarily an all-star team or all-century team, the list is somewhat skewed to more recent players. In fact, three current Mustangs made the list. All are offensive players with eight running backs, four quarterbacks and one wide receiver. Greg Marshall was the top vote getter. Here, in alphabetical order, are the 13 most popular Mustangs.
- Jamie Bone - 1975-78. Quarterback. Hec Crighton winner in 1978.
