Faye Wong in "Chungking Express"

For all of you who have seen Christy look ravishing in MERMAID GOT MARRIED, you might have noticed a catchy pop tune playing in the background when she jumps into the pool with our guy hero. The singer is none other than Asian superstar, actress, and singer FAYE WONG. She is considered the "Madonna of Mandarin" and fans in Asia adore her individualistic style and unique singing talents. It also helps that she's rather cute. Her music tracks have also been featured in other movies. In Wong Kar Wai's CHUNGKING EXPRESS, Faye sings the Chinese cover of a Cranberries didley. She also plays a role as an adorable stalker-you have to see the movie to believe it...Both tracks from MERMAID GOT MARRIED & CHUNGKING EXPRESS are available on her "SKY" album. Personally, I think it to be her best album yet-her new album came out in the States a few weeks ago. Keep an eye and an ear peeled for both Christy and Faye in upcoming Chinese movies and CD's.
