The Tale Of
Begins back in 1991,
When singer Bruce Miller was looking to start a metal band, but with a killer new sound. In his search for a band he ran into good friend and drummer Jason Bibber. The two clicked instantly and they knew they had something to build on.
The first inception of the band played many clubs and built a decent following. They then recorded a four song demo that got some radio play. The band was doing good, but they felt they had not reached their full potential.
That all changed in 1994, when they enlisted guitar player Pete Crecco. Bruce and Pete's song writing styles complemented each other in such a way they knew they were onto something special.
The band then continued to conquer all the clubs in the area with their awesome sound and built a mailing list of over 500 people. But the band knew they needed something extra to go to the next level.
Then the final piece of the puzzle was put in place when they added rock hard bassist Richie Leach. Richie added a new demention to the band that they have been looking for. At that time they were transformed into one of the best bands in the area.
The band has since released their debut CD entitled "The Dawning" on BP Distro. They also hosted TV shows and sold many copies of their CD's. Savant is sure to get any place rocking with their awesome sound so look for Savant to conquer all in 98.
