Notes for Jennie POPE

Family legend from some older family members says that Jennie Pope was a
recent immigrant from Ireland. I feel it is more likely that Jennie Pope
was a member of the Pope Family that was prominent in Edgecombe County,
NC in the mid to late 1700s. She is likely related to the POPE men who
married Theophilus THORN's sisters.
