Notes for Moses H. LEISTER

Ken Ferguson reports that, included in a Lister file at The South
Caroliana Library in Columbia is a collection of 37 pieces, consisting
primarily of letters between A. H. Lister and his wife Mary (see Chapter
20, Lanford/Lister Connection); however, along with those letters is an
envelope on which the following words are written: "By the hand of Moses
Lister". It is not clear what is meant by these words; perhaps Moses
delivered these letters, or a part of them, to someone.
