I am "assuming" that Mary Hurt was the Mary referred to in the Blevins
book who married a ?Foster.
The KY connection of this family is an important clue, when combined with
Gabriel Foster stating in the 1810 Census that his mother was born in KY.
This Mary was born in SC, but would have moved to KY with her family at a
young age.
Joseph was born in Henry Co. VA, moved to SC before 1800 and to Wayne Co.
KY in 1809.
