Unseen-neverseen Exakta Objects

Some days ago I was looking at old Exakta related ads. I found the following one, from a magazine printed on 1950 (if you wish to look at the printed picture, you can click on the small image near the title. I modified it with Photoshop to avoid the bad effect of the magazine pattern).

An Automatic Diaphragm
and similar single-lens reflex cameras is being distributed by the Ace Scientific Laboratories, 104559 Montana Ave., South Gate, Calif. With this unit the user focuses with a wide-open lens, giving a brighter image. When the shutter is released the diaphragm automatically stops down to the predetermined f/stop. The unit can be installed without drilling into the camera or making any alterations. The price is $44.85 including tax. (In the same year the retail price of a brand new Kine Exakta II with T coated f3,5 Tessar was $118).
