Lunch as per usual in our favorite Italian eaterie with more Danes, my sexy wife and 7 month old daughter in CFC anorak..... Yes I am very sad sometimes.....copious amounts of wine were chased by several grappas, so one arrived at the Bridge nicely fortified by way of more beer at the Fine Line ..... more Danes.. there must be a nest somewhere....it really is the most frightful fucking noise.. Danish that is....

Atmosphere at Bridge loud and noisy.... particularly me.... the game.... well just give the ball to Jesper seems to be the plan... and it worked... first half Man U had nothing..... Giggs was in Albert's pocket.... Beckham ran around like a headless chicken.... Keane was out-muscled by Dennis and Dalla Bona.... back three of Marcel, Terry, and I have to admit Franck Le Beef imperious..... Jimmy holding the ball superbly and ready to pounce, which he did with gingernut's classy header... Cudicini proved a couple of times what a good keeper he is... the faithful provided one particularly bizarre moment.... singing Paolo di Canio's name ..... anything to take the piss out of the northerners from Surrey....

Should have been 4 up before they decided to to play a bit..... Franco should have had a penalty... scored a perfectly good goal.... Jimmy missed a sitter .... the italian guru must have been under the impression that we were four up, otherwise why take Gronkjaer off and put the park kicker Jonkanosomething on...... especially as Manu had scored just seconds before.....

All in all 2 points lost rather than one gained.... Champions League is far away..... off to the library we go.... Can't wait to see Dixon's stupid face when Jesper races past...... maybe we'll find a pub this time.....
