DÉBORA NOVAES DE CASTRO

CEREMONIAL The fire disc slowly sets at the mountain's ridge. Different people coming from all places stand lonely in line to write their names on the Registry Book for the day. But who comes rushing at the distance, down the road? They're the poets, who, resisting to the turning wheel of the day, have let dreams come down on the seventh row of the rainbow.
(in Pinwheel, p. 18, Livroarte/João Scortecci, São Paulo, 1994)
