Mara de Freitas Hermann was born in Videira, Santa Catarina, Brazil in 1950, she took enormous pleasure in enjoying her father's presence and the things he taught her. He was/is a great storyteller, as well as a brilliant judge.

Her mother brought tenderness and loveliness to her life. Like in all families, everyone has his role, Mara became a psychologist, a soul fisher. In her childhood she lived in the north of Paraná, in the city of Maringá. That was in the 50s... years of peace and joy, among the people of Minas Gerais the paulists and all the foreigners who came there to enjoy the happiness of o grande norte, too... which was promising and full of prosperity. She discovered he desire for writing in the 70s and letters..., words... started to mirror her heart. She kept everything... keeping the promised treasure asleep... and in the 90s... she freed her heart... let it sing and gave it the freedom to maybe delight others, and particularly she delighted her soul, since it saw that the work that was begun long ago was now completed. Mara has written a number of books... waiting to release them to the world... A collection she calls chorales of my heart.

In 1974 she gets married and moves to Germany, sure that she would find joy in taming the old world. She has been living in Germany since then where she works as a psychologist, psychotherapist in her own practice. She is a happy and proud mother of two children, Rebecca Janaina and Daniel Piatâ.

She has walked many ways, many paths within psychology, trying to understand the being as well from the occidental point of view as from the eastern one. She has studied, learned and keeps on learning. Today she sees ir like th fruit of learning for personal development, to widen our conscience, to know who we are. By writing, she seeks to awaken love in many hearts, she lets the happiness she feels flow and, above all, the deep faith in a life full of peace.
