BARBARA BEASLEY BUTLER
Former Bank Employee

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Barbara Ann Beasley Butler died 18 Feb., aged 54.

Barbara Ann was born 18 Mar., 1943 in Columbus, the daughter of Simmie Douglas Beasley and Margaret Osteen. She attended Auburn University and Columbus State University. Barbara Ann was a former employee of First National Bank here. She was a volunteer at The Medical Center and active in the Parents Teacher Association and youth organizations. She was a vocalist in church and school choirs.

Burial was in Parkhill Cemetery here.

Survivors are her parents of Charleston, SC; daughter, Elizabeth Butler Jones, Columbus; son, Kurt Douglas Butler of the US Navy in Hawaii; brother, Ronald Douglas Beasley, Ruffin, SC; aunt, Rhunette Osteen Gilbert, Columbus.

WILLIS HOLTON LANGDON
Husband of Clara Beasley

GARNER, NC-- Willis Holton Langdon died 6 May, aged 79. He was the husband of Clara Beasley.

He was the son of Willis Cleveland Langdon and Mattie Johnson. He was a veteran of World War II. Willis was a retired farmer and also retired from the Raleigh News-Observer newspaper in 1984.

Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery between Raleigh and Durham.

Survivors include his wife Clara; daughters Faye Langdon Stephenson, Clayton, Shirley Langdon Baldwin and Julia Langdon, both of Scotland Neck; son Tyra Langdon, Garner; brothers John and Carroll Langdon, both of Garner; 13 grandchildren, Tammie Williams, Julie Cantu, Sam S. Clark Jr., Teresa Clark, Mitchell Stephenson, Stanley Stephenson, Jason Stephenson, Patrick Stephenson, Kelly Langdon, Tyson Langdon, Connie Godwin, Chris Stephenson and Eric Baldwin; 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Williams Holton Williams, Skyler Langdon, Sherry Stephenson and Leah Godwin.

BETTY RUTH BEASLEY WILES
Dies in Illinois

SOMERSET, Ky.-- Betty Ruth Beasley Wiles died at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital 16 Aug., 1998, aged 60.

Betty was born 24 Apr., 1938 in Rossville, IL., daughter of Estle and Audie Roy Beasley. She was a granddaughter of Virgil Beasley and Haley McDaniel.

Betty was a 1957 graduate of Nancy High School. She was a cook at Northern Middle School and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Betty married J. P. Wiles 19 Sept., 1957 in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Beasley.

Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband J. P.; a daughter, Lori Wiles Phelps; sons Steven J. Wiles, Nashville and Joseph Lee Wiles, Somerset, Ky.; sisters, Barbara Beasley Price and Patty Beasley Searan, both of Nancy; brother, Philip Beasley; and 2 grandchildren, Shelbie and Brett Phelps.

JAMES W. ("Jimmy") BEASLEY
Jacksonville Resident

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- James W. ("Jimmy") Beasley died here 8 Oct.

Jimmy was a life-long resident of Jacksonville. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery here.

Survivors include his mother, Emma Jean Beasley; sisters, Debra J. Griffin and Jean Arnold; brother, Thomas Franklin Beasley; and several nieces and nephews.

LAURA JACOBSON BEESLEY
Formerly of Malad, Idaho

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah-- Laura Caroline Jacobson Beesley died here 21 Mar., aged 78.

Laura was a former resident of Malad, Idaho. No further info available.

PEARL BEASLEY TART
Widow of William A. ("Tom") Tart

COATS, NC-- Pearl Beasley Tart died of heart failure at Good Hope Hospital in Erwin, NC, aged 82.

Pearl was a homemaker. She was the widow of Willam Aaron ("Tom") Tart. Burial was in Bethsaida Church Cemetery in Dunn, NC.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Morton, Memphis, Tn.

KATY KING BEASLEY
Arkansas Homemaker

PROCTOR, Ark.-- Katy King Beasley died at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. following an auto accident. She was 58.

Katy was the wife of Harold Beasley Sr. She was a member of First Church of Nazarene in West Memphis. She was a homemaker.

Burial was in Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion, Ark.

Survivors include her husband Harold; parents Willard and Christine King Sr., Byhalia, Miss.; daughters Judy Morris, Marion and Teresa Houston, West Memphis; son Harold Beasley Jr., West Memphis; sisters Susan Teed, Marion and Rosemary Summerford, Miss.; brothers Jackie King, West Memphis and Willard King Jr., Byhalia; and 6 grandchildren.
