Barbara Ann was born 18 Mar., 1943 in Columbus, the daughter of Simmie Douglas Beasley and Margaret Osteen. She attended Auburn University and Columbus State University. Barbara Ann was a former employee of First National Bank here. She was a volunteer at The Medical Center and active in the Parents Teacher Association and youth organizations. She was a vocalist in church and school choirs.
Burial was in Parkhill Cemetery here.
Survivors are her parents of Charleston, SC; daughter, Elizabeth Butler Jones, Columbus; son, Kurt Douglas Butler of the US Navy in Hawaii; brother, Ronald Douglas Beasley, Ruffin, SC; aunt, Rhunette Osteen Gilbert, Columbus.
WILLIS HOLTON LANGDON

GARNER, NC-- Willis Holton Langdon died 6 May, aged 79. He was the husband of Clara Beasley.
He was the son of Willis Cleveland Langdon and Mattie Johnson. He was a veteran of World War II. Willis was a retired farmer and also retired from the Raleigh News-Observer newspaper in 1984.
Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery between Raleigh and Durham.
Survivors include his wife Clara; daughters Faye Langdon Stephenson, Clayton, Shirley Langdon Baldwin and Julia Langdon, both of Scotland Neck; son Tyra Langdon, Garner; brothers John and Carroll Langdon, both of Garner; 13 grandchildren, Tammie Williams, Julie Cantu, Sam S. Dies in Illinois
SOMERSET, Ky.-- Betty Ruth Beasley Wiles died at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital 16 Aug., 1998, aged 60.
Betty was born 24 Apr., 1938 in Rossville, IL., daughter of Estle and Audie Roy Beasley. She was a granddaughter of Virgil Beasley and Haley McDaniel.
Betty was a 1957 graduate of Nancy High School. She was a cook at Northern Middle School and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Betty married J. P. Wiles 19 Sept., 1957 in Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Beasley.
Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband J. P.; a daughter, Lori Wiles Phelps; sons Steven J. Wiles, Nashville and Joseph Lee Wiles, Somerset, Ky.; sisters, Barbara Beasley Price and Patty Beasley Searan, both of Nancy; brother, Philip Beasley; and 2 grandchildren, Shelbie and Brett Phelps.
