Brooks Family History

Sponsored by the Brooks Family Club

Welcome to the Brooks Family Club's HISTORY section. This part of our website is devoted to the history of all the different Brooks families in America. Most of these are descendants of pioneers who settled in the American Colonies before we gained independence. If you came directly to this site, go to the Family Club's Home page to read about the Brooks Family National Library and what we are trying to do about gathering and preserving our family history.

This site is sponsored by the Brooks Family Club, a national, non-profit family club dedicated to gathering and preserving information and records on all Brooks families.

If you have a webpage devoted to the history of your immediate Brooks family branch, please let us know and we will add a link to your site. We hope to add an entire webpage for Brooks family history links.

Brooks Family Cemetery Records

One of our most important projects is to gather cemetery records, tombstone inscriptions and burial information on all Brookss and their descendants and preserve this in our Family Library. We also hope to post much of this information in our online History section. You are urged to take part in this effort.

NOTE: If you came directly to this page, be sure and visit the Brooks Family Club Home page, where you can jump to the Brooks Family Queries section, the "Famous Brooks" section (about notable Brooks: in Hollywood, TV, governor, mayor, sheriff, college professors and and school principals and teachers and many others), the Brooks Family "NEWSLETTER" and our other pages. Click on "HOME" at the bottom of the page to get started.
