VALLEY, Ala.--Mark Ford Brown and Karen Marie Penn of Valley were married 26 July.
The ceremony was performed at Langdale Methodist Church, with Rev. Todd Henderson officiating.
Karen is the daughter of Ronald and Gloria Penn of Lake Harding, Al. Mark is the son of Ford and Pat Brown of Lanett, Al.
Gloria Yandle was matron of honor. The groom's father served as best man. A reception was held at the church. The couple is now living in Valley.
WOODBURY, Ga.--James Michael Brown of Woodbury and Mary Beth Hinson of Manchester, Ga., were married 2 Aug., 1997 in Pine Mountain.
The wedding ceremony took place at the John A. Sibley Horticultural Center at Callaway Gardens resort here. Rev. Jimmie Chapman and Rev. William Lloyd officiated.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James H. Hinson of Manchester.
Parents of the groom are Mr. & Mrs. Mike Brown of Woodbury.
Michelle McClain was maid of honor and SeGay Branch was matron of honor. The groom's father served as best man.
A reception was held after the wedding at the Sibley Center.
The couple will live in Orangeburg, SC.
BREWTON, Ala.--Jacqueline Alisa Brown and Ricky Dewayne Thomas of Jacksonville, Fl. were married 13 Dec. at First Methodist Church in Brewton.
Jackie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Robert Brown of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. she is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Brown of Albany, Ga. and Mr. & Mrs. Nelson Wayne Trawick of Donalsonville, Ga. She is a 1993 graduate of T. R. Miller High School in Brewton and sill graduate cum laude in elementary education in December from Jacksonville University. She is a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
Ricky is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon C. Thomas of Brewton and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Leon C. Thomas and the late Mr. & Mrs. A. L. Rowland, also of Brewton. He is a 1990 graduate of T. R. Miller High School and a 1995 graduate of Troy State University, Troy, Al., with a bachelor's degree in criminology. He is presently employed with Prudential Insurance here.
A reception was held at the Country Club of Brewton. The couple is residing in Jacksonville.

Katherine is the daughter of Benton Brown of Round Rock, Tx. and Lotte Toler of Columbus. She is a 1997 graduate of Columbus High School and is employed as assistant manager of the Rave store in Peachtree Mall.
Mark is the son of Mark and Heidi Saxon of Columbus and Sheila Jones of Olla, La. He is a 1994 graduate of Carver High School here. He is employed as a mechanic for U-Haul.

Louis is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robin C.Brown of Fort Myers. He is a 1982 graduate of St.Andrews-Sewanee School in Sewanee, Tenn. He received a bachelor's degree in 1987 from Florida State University and a masters of fine arts in directing in 1990 from the University of Texas. He is now self-employed as president of Chaos Productions, Inc. of Fort Myers.
Stacey is the daughter of Amarylis Hollis Chadwick of Phenix City, Ala. and the late Jack Ford Chadwick. She is a 1983 graduate of Glenwood School and earned a bachelor of science degree in family and child development in 1987 from Auburn University. She received a masters degree in counselor education in 1991 fro the University of South Florida, Flort Myers. She is a licensed mental health counselor, employed with the Lee County School system in Fort Myers as a behavior specialist.
GOLDSBORO, NC-- Deanna Lenore Brown and John Michael Williams were married 6 June at Faith Free Will Baptist Church here. Rev. Tim Rabon and Dr. Randy Cox officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Deanna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry G. Brown of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Broan of Micro and Nancy P. Myrick of Littleton and the later Freeman Myrick Jr. Deanna is a 1992 graduate of Faith Christian Academy and a 1996 graduate of Southeastern Free Will Baptist College with a degree in education. She is now employed as an English teacher at Faith Christian Academy.
John Michael is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Williams of Knightdale. He si the grandson of W. G. Williams of Smithfield and the late Alleane Williams. He is a 1992 graduate of Raleigh Christian Academy and a graduate of Southeastern Free Will Baptist College with a degree in sacred music. He is now the minister of youth and evangelistic outreach at First Free Will Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Janis Strickland of Roanoke Rapides, aunt of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brendy Myrick, Roanoke Rapists, aunt of the bride and Erin Powell, Kristie Bell, Melissa Goodfellow, Jennifer Moots and Genell Rice, all friends of the bride. Marvin Williams served as his sons best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Williams, brother of the groom and Jon Wisley, Christian Powell, Shawn Bradshaw, David Murphy and Michael Wheeler. Ushers wre Michael Parrish, Myron Scott and Matt Toole, friends of the goom and Jeff Brown, uncle of the bride. Sonya Williams of Knightdale, sister-in-law of the groom, was honorary bridesmaid. Katie Carraway, friend of the couple, was flower girl. A program of wedding music was provided by Teresa Siebert, Jan Haas and Lange and Jamie Patrick. After a honeymoon trip to the Poconos Mountains in New York and to New York City, the couple is now residing in Knightdale.

James in the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lindy Brown Sr. of Raleigh. He is a resident of Aiken, SC. Christine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald A Perri of Raleigh.
After a honeymoon trip to the island nation of Jamaica in the Caribbean, the couple will live in Aiken. No further info available.
LAVERGNE, Tenn.-- Olivia Ira Brown and Allen Roger Rose Jr. were married 13 Mar.
Olivia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Brown of Rosewood, Tn. Allen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Rose of Lavergne and formerly of Rosewood. He is the grandson of the late Dorothy Jones Gurley.
The couple is now residing in Lavergne.

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Billy and Marilyn Brown of Seale, Ala. announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelly Brown to Shane Minard, both of Columbus.
Shelly is the son of Bob and Betty Minard of Columbus. He is employed with Shoe City here. Shane is employed with the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department as a maintenance supervisor.
A May 2 wedding is planned at Oates Avenue Baptist Church in Columbus.
CONROE, Tex.-- Patrick Morgan Brown and his wife, Catherine Anderson ("Kitty") Pool celebrated their 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary here 21 December at the First Methodist Church.
Kitty and Pat were married 21 Dec., 1947 at the Fairbanks Baptist Church in Fairbanks, Tex. The couple met while in college at Sam Houston State University. The couple both became educators. Kitty taught school at Magnolia High School and McCullough High School. She retired in 1993 after 27 years as an educator.
Pat served in several school districts, including Spurger, Magnolia and the Conroe Independent School District. He was a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent. He retired from Conroe in 1989 after serving for 44 years.
COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Gussie and Walter Roscoe Ledford of Columbus celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary 24 Dec. at their home.
Gussie Brown is formerly of Marvin, Ala. She and Walter were married 24 Dec., 1926 in Columbus.
