Paul W. Brown, was elected Attorney General of Ohio.
Francis Shunk Brown was born 9 Jun 1858 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a son of US Congressman Charles Brown and grandson of Congressman Francis Rawn Shunk. He studied law and was admitted to the bar. He was elected as a Republican as the State Attorney General of Pennsylvania, serving 1915-1919. He was a member of the American Bar Association. He served as a delegate to the Republican Party National Convention in 1924.
Paul W. Brown was born about 1915 in Cleveland, Oh. he studied law and was admitted to the bar. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was named a Judge of the Ohio Court of Appeals and served 1960-1964, when he was named a Justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio, serving from 1964-1968, when he ran as a Republican and was elected Attorney General of Ohi, serving 1969-1971. He lost a bid for governor of Ohio in 1970. He died 17 Nov 2000 of alzheimer's disease in a nursing home in Sarasota, FL.
Samuel E. Brown was named Attorney General of the Territory of Colorado and served 1862-1865.
William J. Brown, a Democrat of Mahoning County, Oh., succeeded Republican Paul W. Brown as Attorney General of Ohio and served 1971-1983.
Reagan V. Brown, was born about 1921. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was elected Commissioner of Agriculture of Texas and served 1977-1982. He died 26 Nov 1999 in a farm tractor accident in Brazoria County, Tx.

Dee Brown was elected as a Republican candidate as Secretary of State of West Virginia in 1980.
Dwight Huber Brown was born 12 Jan 1887 in Scott County, Missouri. He was elected to the Missouri State Senate from the 21st District in 1925. He was elected Secretary of State of Missouri and served from 1933 until his death 8 May 1944.
Frederick P. Brown of Blue Earth, Mn. was elected as a Republican to the office of Minnesota Secretary of State and served 1891-1895.
Lewis H. Brown was elected to the California State Assembly and served 1883-1885. He was elected Secretary of State of California and served 1895-1899.
Mason Brown was born 10 Nov 1799 in Philadelphia, Pa., a son of US Senator John Brown Jr. (from Staunton, Va.) who was elected to the US Congress from Virginia and to the US Senate from Kentucky and Margaretta Mason. He was a grandson of John Brown Sr. and Margaret Preston, both natives of Ireland who settled in Virginia and later Frankfort, Ky. He was elected Secretary of State of Kentucky and served 1855-1859. His son Benjamin Gratz Brown moved to Missouri and was elected to the United States Senate.
Oliver H. Brown of North Spring Lake, NJ was elected as a Republican to represent Monmouth County in the New Jersey State Senate and served 1903-1911. He was also a delegate from NJ to the Republican Party National Party in 1900.
Thad H. Brown was elected as a Republican to be Secretary of State of Ohio and served 1923-1927. He was later appointed to the new Federal Radio Commission which was established to provide regulations for the new field of radio broadcasting. The FRC was later changed to the Federal Communications Commission in 1934.

Henry Brown was elected Ohio State Treasurer and served 1823-1835.
Jeremiah Brown was elected Connecticut State Treasurer and served 1835-1838.
John C. Brown was elected Treasurer of Ohio and served 1886-1892.
Kathleen Brown, was born in California, daughter of Governor Edmund Gerald Brown, Sr.; sister of Governor Edmund Gerald Brown, Jr. Kathleen was elected as a Democrat as California State Treasurer; she was an unsuccessful candidate for governor of California, in 1994.
Sam Brown, was elected as Colorado State Treasurer and served 1975-77.
Sanford A. Brown was born 18 May 1909 in Bay Port, Mi. He was elected as a Democrat as State Treasurer of Michigan and served 1955 to 1965. He lost a bid for the US Congress in 1964. He served as an alternate delegate to the Democratic Party National Convention in 1956. He died 26 Jun 1986 at Bay Port.
William C. Brown was elected as Iowa State Treasurer and served 1913-1917 and died 12 May 1917 while in office.
