JACKSON, Miss.-- Norman Keith Parkman and Venus Antoinette Olson were married here 10 May at the Agriculture Museum.
Norman is the son of Ann Stapleton Parkman and the grandson of Virginia Conyers and Carl Stapleton. He is a grandson of Arnold Lee Conyers , a native of Cartersville, Ga. and Mamie Gann; great grandson of William Jordan Conyers and Virginia Jordan; gg grandson of Bennett Hill Conyers and Elizabeth Bowen; ggg grandson of Ross Conyers and Elizabeth ("Betsy") Denson; gggg grandson of William Conyers Sr. and Mary Ross.

BRACKINIRON CITY, Ga.-- Mrs. Sara Brackin of Iron City and Phil Brackin of Bainbridge, Ga. announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katina Elizabeth to William Michael Kirkland.
William Michael is the son of Shirley Dianne Alday and her husband William Landon Kirkland of Brinson, Ga. He is a 1992 graduate of Bainbridge High School and received a bachelors degree in history from the University of Georgia in 1996. He will graduate from Valdosta StateUniversity in August with a masters degree in history. He is currently employed as an admissions counselor at Keiser College in Tallahassee, Fla. William is the grandson of Roscoe Luke Alday and Allene Earnest; he is a great grandson of the late Susan Martha ("Susie") Conyers and Sidney Dillard Alday; gg grandson of Moses F. J. Conyers and Susan C. Hill and ggg grandson of Asbury Daniel (Daniel) Conyers and Eliza M.
Katina is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Rabon of Iron City and the late Green ("Pud") Rabon and Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Brackin of Brinson. She is a 1992 graduate of Seminole County High School in Donalsonville and a 1997 graduate of Valdosta State University where she received a bachelors of science degree in early childhood education. She is now employed with the Miller County Board of Education in Colquitt.
The wedding is planned for 18 July at the Iron City Baptist Church. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
