Faircloth's in the Confederate States Army
This portion of our History section is devoted to the Southern Faircloth men and boys who helped defend their homes and Nation as soldiers and sailors in the Confederate States Army and Navy during the War for Southern Independence (War Between the States). If you have information or copies of records on a Faircloth ancestor's military service, please send us these to preserve in the Family Library.
We will try to list every Faircloth who served in the Confederate military forces and info on his service.
Most military units of the South were organized into regiments and battalions. All the units below are infantry organizations unless otherwise designated, such as Cav. for cavalry and Arty. for artillery.
