JAMES MORGAN
Army Vet Dies in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, Ga.-- James Morgan died here at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Ceneter 18 Mar., 1999 at age 61.

He was a veteran of the US Army and the Georgia National Guard. He was a retired welder with Babcox and Wilcox here.

James was an avid hunter and a member of Hooterville Hunting Club, Golden Isles Pigeon Club, the Coastal Empire Combine Racing Pigeon Club and Greater Jacksonville Pigeon Club. He was a member of the Waynesville Church of God.

Burial was in the Waynesville Church of God Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Reatha Jean Nix Morgan, Brunswick; parents Earl and Elsie Johnson Morgan, Waynesville; daughters Pam Morgan Whittington, Brunswick, Rebecca Morgan Douglas and Shelly Morgan, both of Waynesville; sons Clifford Morgan, Brunswick, Todd and Rock Morgan, both of Waynesville; sisters Earline Morgan Dowling and Marie Morgan, both of Waynesville; brothers Leon, Douglas and Robert Morgan, all of Waynesville; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

PHYLLIS J. MORGAN
Former Volunteer Fire Chief

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.--Phyllis J. Harvey Morgan died 6 Dec., at her home here.
Phyllis was born 19 Mar., 1931 in Sapulpa, Ok., daughter of Paul R. Harvey. and Vinita V. ("Billie") Reynolds. She was a homemaker and an avid bowler and camper. Phyllis was a volunteer for the Wedington Volunteer Fire Department from 1978 to 1993 and served as Fire Chief from April, 1992 to Nov., 1993.
Burial was in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, H. H. ("Hoot") Morgan; daughter, Cheryl E. Morgan Henderson, Farmington, Ark.; sons Glenn M. Morgan and Gary W. Morgan, both of Fayetteville; 6 grandchildren.

HELEN LAND MORGAN
Retired From Ga. Highway Dept.

COLUMBUS, Ga.-- Helen Land Morgan died at St. Francis Hospital here 17 Dec., aged 86. Helen was born 10 Aug., 1911 in Hamilton, Ga., daughter of Kenneth Land and Charlye Cranford. She was a graduate of the old A. & M. Junior College, now West Georgia State Univ. in Carrollton and of Georgia and Alabama Business School in Macon. She was retired from the Georgia Highway Dept. Her first husband, John T. Willis, died and she married J. C. Morgan. She was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.

Burial was in Parkhill Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, J. C. Morgan; sisters Nancy L. Jones and Frances L. Graham; brother, James Land; stepsons, Wayne Morgan and Jay Morgan; step grandsons Paul and Jamie Morgan.

WILLIAM H. MORGAN Jr.
Dies in Fayetteville, NC

WADE, NC-- William Henry Morgan Jr. died at Highland House Nursing Home in Fayetteville 22 Nov., aged 72.

Burial was in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Omega P. Morgan; daughters, Judy Morgan Locklear, Wade, Debbie Morgan, Kelly, Bonnie Stiff and Brenda Abernathy, both of Fayetteville; son, Leonard Morgan, Kelly; sister, Leneal Spencer, Hope Mills; brothers Ray Tyndall, Roseboro and Gene Tyndall, Falcon; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grand- children.

ROBERT T. MORGAN
US Army Veteran

EAST RIDGE, Tenn.--Robert T. Morgan died 23 Nov. at age 63.
Robert was a veteran of the US Army. He was retired from Koehring Southern and attended Newnan Springs Methodist Church.

Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; mother, Mrs. Cleo Blatsos, Chattanooga; sons, Mark Morgan, Ringgold, Ga. and Timothy Morgan; sisters, Pat Morgan Shragg, Orlando, Fl. and Connie Morgan Scott; brothers, James Morgan, Chattanooga and George Morgan, Cocoa, Fl.

BURL MORGAN Jr.
Retired Air Force Vet

TAMPA, Fla.--Burl Morgan Jr. died at his home here 28 Dec., aged 60.

Burl was a native of Nanafalia, Ala. He was retired from the US Air Force. He moved to Tampa from Germany in 1976. After he moved to Tampa, Burl worked as a night auditor for a hotel. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth June; mother, Myrtie Lee Phillips, Sweetwater, Al.; sons, Burl Morgan III, Plant City, Fl. and Johnny Lee Morgan, Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Rosa Lee Sikes, Silas, Al., Mary Speed, Butler, Al., Myrtie Rea Gordon, Sweetwater and Vera Morgan, Pensacola; brothers Roy Morgan, Butler and Earl Morgan, King of Prussia, Pa., Pete Morgan, Butler and Charles Morgan, Fl.; one grandchild.

WILLIE MAE MORGAN
Dies in Eufaula, Alabama

COTTONTON, Ala.-- Willie Mae Morgan died at Lakeview Hospital in Eufaula, Ala. 13 Apr., age 73.

Willie was born 12 Sept., 1924 in Geneva, Ala., dau- ghter of Willie and Mattie Greene. She was employed with Kite's General Store in Cottonton for many years. She was a member of Cottonton Baptist Church.

Burial was in Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Surviving is her son, Tim Morgan, Cottonton.

ELSIE CARRICK MORGAN
Widow of Barney B. Morgan

HIGH POINT, NC-- Elsie Carrick Morgan died at Wesleyan Arms nursing home here 3 May, age 91.

Elsie was born 21 Nov., 1906 in Davidson County, daughter of Manuel Carrick and Lundy Cameron. She was married to Barney Benjamin Morgan, who died 17 Oct., 1976. She had been a resident of High Point all her life and was a member of Lebanon Methodist Church.

Burial was in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

Surviving are daughters Doris Barnes, Raleigh and Dorothy Payne, High Point; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
