State Land Grants & US Homesteads

Sponsored by

Odom Family Association

This part of our History section will contain information on Colonial and state land grants or patents and on United States homesteads. Colonial land grants or patents are often the only public record remaining of many ancestors. Although these records usually contain only bare facts, they can often reveal vital information.

In coming weeks, we will try to show different records for your benefit.
