I was born in Covington Co., AL and lived my early years in Opp, AL. I would like to post a query on this Richardson site. I'm searching for the parents of my g g grandfather, AUGUSTUS R. RICHARDSON (17 Dec 1821 in GA?); mar 1st SARAN ANN McMICHAEL on 10 Jan 1841 in Pike Co., AL. and 2nd to my g g grandmother, FALBY COBB BROOKS GILMORE (a widow). Ch (I may not have all the names): 1. HENRY LITTLEBERRY (1 Dec 1851 in Pike Co., AL.; mar SARA PATIENCE DEAN (b 29 May 1847); 2. JOSEPH ALLEN (my g grandfather) (6 Nov 1853, in Pike Co., mar REBECCA JANE DEAN (b 3 Mar 1856 in Pike Co.); 3. MARY PRINCE (17 Apr 1856 in Pike Co., mar ELIJAH CULLEN CULPEPPER (6 Mar 1846 in Bullock Co., AL.); 4. HAMPTON BROOKS (20 Sep 1857 in Pike Co., mar ELIZABETH SOPHIE WINDHAM (23 Aug 1856 in Pike Co.); 5. JOHN AUGUSTUS (22 Mar 1860 in Pike Co., mar MALINDA WINDHAM (25 Oct 1862 in Pike Co.). Joseph Allen and Rebecca Jane's son, JOHN THOMAS RICHARDSON, was my grandfather. John Thomas mar CLEO ESTHER CURBY and their dau, BERTIE GARDIS RICHARDSON was my mother. I found in your cemetery list in the Richardson-Dean Cemetery in Dale County, AL, my g g Uncle Henry L. (Littleberry) Richardson and his wife, my g g Aunt Sara Patience Dean Richardson. I would love to have contact with the person that gave this information so that we may share our research.

JOSEPH E. RICHARDSON
1829 Tn. -- 1912 Hancock Co., IL.

Looking for info on JOSEPH E. RICHARDSON (12 Apr 1829 in TN. -- 19 Oct 1912), son of JAMES RICHARDSON and ELIZABETH WHITLER, both b Ky. Joseph E. is buried in the Cook Cemetery, Hancock Co, IL. In 1852 he mar NANCY JANE TAYLOR (b 1838 in KY. -- 3 Mar 1910). Mrs. Richardson came to Hancock County, Illinois with her parents when a child. Mr. and Mrs. Richardson moved to Harrison County, Missouri in 1856, where their son, William was born in 1858. Because of the border warfare, they traveled in a covered wagon to the Mississippi River, crossing the ferry at Warsaw,Illinois. Then settled near Oakwood in the vicinity of Hamilton, Illinois. Later moving to St. Albans Township, Hancock Co, Illinois. Children: WILLIAM F. (1856), HARRISON ALBERT (1858), JOSEPH SCOTT (1861), EDWARD B. (1867) and MARY BELLE (1871). Have information of living relatives of Harrison Albert and Edward Branson Richardson. Hope to find relatives of William F. and Joseph Scott and sister Mrs. Belle Fryer.

REDDIN JAMES RICHARDSON

Looking for info on my ancestor REDDIN JAMES RICHARDSON b 31 Jan 1826, mar MARY ANN GALLASPY in Monroe Co., AL in 1851. They had at least 4 sons: STEPHEN BEMOUS was my g-g-grandfather, born 1861 in Escambia Co., Al. Also, info about DICEY BEASLEY, wife of JOSEPH RICHARDSON in Darlington Dist., SC. I would like to know if you have marriage info. I guess if they are mar in 1820 census, she was possibly a minor when they married. Do you know her parents names? How does Sarah (2nd wife of Joseph and widow of CHARLES BEASLEY) fit into this family? I would also enjoy any correspondence with someone interested in the Richardson's.
