GAIL RILEY
Wife of C. Frank Riley

COLUMBIA, SC-- Mrs. Gail Storey Riley died here 24 June, 1997.
Gail was born in Columbus, Ga., daughter of William Ralph Storey and Edith Coleman. She was married to C. Frank Riley.
They had lived here for many years. Gail a co-founder and director of Epworth Play School for 12 years.
Burial was in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Ga.


Surviving are her husband Frank, Columbia; parents of Columbus, Ga.; daughter, Dana Riley Cason, St. Louis, Mo.; son Mark C. Riley, Columbia; sister, Kay Storey Wessner, Tallahassee, Fl.

C. V. ("Augie") RILEY Sr.
Retired School Mechanic

HERNANDO, Miss.-- Charles V. ("Augie") Riley, Sr. died at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Tn. 21 Sept., aged 53.
Augie was a retired mechanic with the DeSoto County School Bus Shop. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Eudora, Miss.
Burial was at the Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae Riley; mother, Bernice Riley, Hernando; daugh-ters, Wanda Riley and Tammy Rhoda, both of Hernando and Brenda Scruggs, Lamar, Ark.; son, Charles V. Riley Jr., Hernando; sisters, Billie Ruth Sowell, Tunica, Ms. and Patsy Moore, Arkabutla, Ms.; brothers Marvin Riley, Harnando and Ruben Riley, Arkabutla; 4 grandchildren.

NELSON RILEY
US Army
Veteran

BILOXI, Miss.--Nelson Riley died here 4 Oct., aged 70.
Nelson was born 18 July, 1927 in Pointe-a-la-Hache, La., son of George and Cindy Riley. He a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of Bethleham Baptist Church in Pointe-a-la-Hache. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, Chris, Daniel John, George, Henderson Samuel and Isaac Riley and a sister, Elmira Riley Encalade.

Burial was in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his daughter, Wanda G. Riley West; son, Eldridge W. Riley, both of Biloxi; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

ANNE RILEY COCHRAN
Lawyer, Worked For Democratic Officials

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.-- Anne Rutledge Riley Cochran died 14 Feb., aged 34.

Anne was born in Little Rock, 20 Mar., 1963, daughter of Pat and Martha Riley. She graduated from Centeral High School in 1981 and attended Stanford University in California and then Vanderbilt Law School in Nashville, Tn., where she graduated in 1989. She practiced corporate law in San Francisco briefly but did not like the work. She left the firm and told friends she was going to become "a waitress in Tibet". She then met Tod Cochran and a year later, they became engaged in a rain forest in Ecuador. They married in 1994. After that, they lived in Alexandria, Va. while she worked for US Senator David Pryor (D-Ark.) on the Committee on Aging in Wash- ington until the Republicans voted her out of office. She and Tod moved to Little Rock in 1996 and she clerked for US Judge Richard S. Arnold.

Anne left a wonderful mark and became an inspiration for her many friends. She had a voracious appetite for knowledge through books and travel. She loved singing, dancing, music and being on the water.

Survivors include her husband; a 19 month old daughter, Caroline Riley Cochran; her parents; sisters, Janna Riley Knight and Katherine Riley Shoulders; brother Pat Riley Jr.

ROY L. RILEY
Foxworth Farm Supply Co.Owner

COLUMBIA, Miss.-- Roy L. Riley died at Forrest Hospital in Hattiesburg, 11 July, 1997 at age 73.
Roy was born in Marion County. He was the retired co-owner of Foxworth Farm Supply in Foxworth. He was a member of East Columbia Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a daugther, Kathy Riley Barber, a son, Donald Roy Riley and a grandson, Terry D. Barber.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Robbins Riley; daughter, Ann Riley Tillson; grandchildren Lacie Tillson and Laurie Barber, all of Columbia.

 DANIEL ROSCOE RILEY Sr.
World War II & Korean War Veteran

NEWVILLE, Ala.-- Daniel Roscoe (Roscoe) Riley died 12 Nov., 1997 in a Dothan hospital after a short illness, aged 83.
Daniel was born 23 Jan., 1914 in Dale County, Al. He married Madeline Murphy on 15 May, 1939. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired Master Sergeant with 20 years service in the Army. During World War II, he served with the 2nd Armored Division in Europe.

Roscoe retired from the Army in 1955. After his retirement, Roscoe moved to the Center Community of Henry County, Ala. He went to work for Page Aircraft at Fort Rucker. He also worked with the Henry County Board of Education in mainte- nance and the Henry County Soil Conser-vation Service. He was also a cattle farmer.

Roscoe was a member of the 2nd Armored Division Association. He was also a mem-ber of Center Methodist Church. Roscoe was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Virgil B. Riley


He was the son of Ezra Alto Riley and Martha Maria Snell; grandson of James Edward Riley and Mary A. Deal; great grandson of Needham Riley and Elizabeth Ann Oliver; great great grandson of Edward Riley Sr. and Mary Outlaw; g.g.g. grandson of John Riley Sr. and Mary.
Burial with full military honors was at Center Methodist Church Cemetery near Newville.

Survivors include his wife, Madeline; daughters Linda Carol Riley Ward, Echo, Al. and Nancy Faye Riley Richburg, Grove Hill, Al.; sons Daniel Roscoe ("Danny") Riley Jr. and Michael Gallard ("Mike") Riley, Reno, Nv.; sister, Marjorie Riley Bartlett, Midland City, Al.; brother, Jerry Riley, Echo; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

JERRY LEE RILEY
Mechanic Dies From Accident

CARY, NC--Jerry Lee Riley died 1 June at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill from injuries received in a work-related accident 30 April. Jerry was a heavy equipment mechanic for Interstate Equipment Co. He was the son of Leon and Alease M. Riley.

Burial was in the Apex Cemetery at Apex.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy C.Riley; father, Leon Riley, Morrisville, NC; mother, Alease M. Riley, also of Morrisville; daughters Jessica L. Riley of the home and Terra Riley Evans , Apex; sisters Patricia Blackburn, Morrisville and Angela M. Snipes, Apex; brothers Randy E. Riley and Gregory L.
