I am searching for descendants/siblings of JOEL SANDERS (5 Mar 1814 of Morgan Co., IN); m. 13 Apr 1836 in Morgan Co. MARY BALES (7 Mar 1816 in Morgan Co., IN, dau of ELEAZER BALES and ANN both born in Guilford Co., NC between 1790 and 1792). Mary had a sister, ASENATH H. BALES (3 JAN 1820 in Morgan Co., IN) who married JONATHAN OWEN in Morgan Co., IN 15 OCT 1836. Asenath and Jonathon were the parents of 9 ch, including my great-aunt, IDA BELL OWEN THOMPSON and great-uncle, Isaac J. OWEN both of whom lived in Farnam, NE in the late 1880's. Anticipating a discovery.

I am writing this for my niece -- Kati Stevens Turney. Her birth mother is LORETTA SANDERS who was unmarried and about 18 yrs old in 1956 when Kati was born in Ft. Worth, TX. We think at Harris hospital under Dr Myers care. It was a private adoption. The adoptive parents are Melvin and Ingeborg Stevens. Kati was born 11/27/56. Kati has three beautiful daughters -- Vanissa (br 1976), Stacy (br 1980) and Megan (br 1986). Her adoptive parents have given her as much information as they have. Is it possible that someone might know her mother?

I recently became a member of the Sanders Family Association and since then, I have learned more about my great grandmother, FRANCES ANN ("Fannie") SANDERS (b 13 Jul l849 in Talbot Co., Ga.). She later moved to Pike Co., Al. where she mar WILLIAM JAMES COWART. One of her daughters, WILLI VERA is my paternal grandmother. I would appreciate any information or individual who might offer me any information on Fannie and her family. I do have her family bible that contains names of people who must be related to her but I do not know how that relationship may be.

I'm looking for my great grandfather ??? SANDERS. I don't know his first name but he mar ELIZABETH ("Lizzie") whose maiden name I do not know. They had at least one son, my grandfather PETER JOHN SANDERS (b 24 Oct 1902). Lizzie divorced her husband when my grandfather, Peter John was young. From what I heard Mr. Sanders drank and that's why Lizzie divorced him. She later mar GEORGE BRICKELL whose family were Miami pioneers. My grandfather, Peter John mar VIRGINIA WILLIAMS (b Key West, FL.). Their ch: JOHN SANDERS (my father) (b 10 Oct 1924--2 Jul 1999), PAUL SANDERS and EDWARD SANDERS. Dad mar my mother MYRTLE A. HILL during WWII and I was born 14 Nov 1944, an only child. I would like to learn who my g grandfather was and his ancestry. I would also like to find out Lizzies' maiden name. All the above happened in Florida I believe. If anyone can fill in the missing names for me (g grandfather and g grandmother) and give me a little background on them I surely would appreciate it.

I am seeking information about my great-grandfather WILLIAM SANDERS (b 1867 Tn. buried in Paris, Tx.), mar MARTHA EVANS in 1890 and moved to Ok. (then Indian Territory). He worked for a railroad; died young and is buried in Paris, Tx. (may have been an accident?). According to the wife of one of his sons (in an old letter I found) his siblings were JOHN SANDERS, MASS SANDERS, NANCY ("Nan") SANDERS and LILY SANDERS. The only Wm. Sanders on the 1880 TN census born in 1867 had siblings BRUNETTIE, RUSHA, MARY and THOMAS. Must not be the right one or Aunt Julia was wrong. His children were ALBERT SANDERS, SYLVIA PEARL SANDERS, ADA ("Babe") SANDERS, BAXTER SANDERS and LORENZO ("Bud"; "Lowrenza") SANDERS. Thanks for your help.

REDDICK. They were both b in NC. On 15 Dec 1804, Jesse Sr. left NC in
wagons, traveling through Va. and Lexington, Ky. to Cincinnati, Oh. and
arriving in Greene Co., Oh. in 1805. Their oldest ch, FORRIS SANDERS
(Ferris or Forace; died 1869 in LaPorte, In.); JOHN (died 1812 in Spring
Valley, Ohio), JEMIMA SANDERS (d 1814; mar JEFFREY SAULSBURY), JANE
SANDERS (d 1809; mar ISAAC BEASON); SUSANNA SANDERS (d 1809; never
mar); JESSE SANDERS Jr. (d aged 88 at his home in Spring Valley
Township, Oh.). Jesse Jr. mar ELIZABETH SIMERSON in 1840, a native of
Green Co. and her parents from Md. If you have any information regarding Jesse
and his ancestors I would be willing to share the information I have.

I am looking for the parents of my grandfather JOHN ADAMS SANDERS (b
1864 Wytheville, Va.-- 1948) and info about them. All I know about his father
is he served as a Captain in the 45th Regiment, Confederate States Army. He mar
GUY TUREAUD; their ch: CAMPBELL SANDERS, GUY SANDERS and LUCILE
SANDERS. Only Lucile survived to adulthood. She was my mother, now
deceased. John Adams was a mining lawyer in Nevada and eventually served three
terms on the Nevada Supreme Court. He died in 1948. It is likely he was also
named John Adams Sanders but I am not certain of that.

My great grandfather was JONATHAN A. SANDERS (b ca 1805 in NC); mar MARGARET BUCHANNAN (Buchanan, Bohannon), dau of May Buchanan and granddaughter of BENJAMIN BUCHANAN (d 1798 Buchanan; Anson Co., NC). Jonathon and Margaret had 3 ch: MARY SANDERS, ELIZABETH SANDERS and JAMES JAY SANDERS (b abt 1843 -- 1927 in Chester Co. SC). Jonathon and Margaret lost the remaining acreage of their plantation in Anson Co., NC in the 1870's. I believe they moved to Chesterfield, SC after the loss of their farm. Their son James lived there by this time with his family. I have hit a brick wall on the ancestors of Jonathan. Any help is appreciated.

Searching for family and ancestors of NATHAN E. or A. SANDERS (Mar 1857, Tn. -- aft 1910 Tx.). He mar SARAH M. PONDER (Jul 1865 Tn. -- aft 1910 Tx.). They were mar in Tennessee and moved sometime after 1884 to Texas. They are on the 1900 US Census of Ellis Co., Tx. and the 1910 census of Dallas Co., Tx.
