TURNAGE

This part of our History section is devoted to all the Turnage men and boys who fought in defense of their homes and Nation as soldiers and sailors in the Confederate States Army and Navy during the War for Southern Independence (War Between the States), 1861-1865. If you have records on a Turnage ancestor, please send copies of these to preserve in the Family Library.

We hope to add information and records to the page on all the Turnage's who served in the Confederate military forces.

Most of the Southern forces were organized into regiments or battalions. All the units below are infantry unless otherwise designated, such as Cav. for cavalry or Arty. for artillery.
