A Call to the Spiritual Leaders of the United Kingdom
A Prophecy Received by Rick Ridings, 1:53AM, Nov. 26th, 1998
Hear My voice, you leaders of My people in the United Kingdom. You have tasted of My
goodness in great renewal these past years. You have seen Me doing works which seemed
impossible to most of the generation of leaders who preceded you. And yet you are stirred deep
in Your spirits, crying for more of Me, for the streams of renewal to flow together into a mighty
river of revival, as in days past. And you say in your hearts, "Lord, why do You wait? Why has
the tidal wave of full spiritual awakening not yet swept across our isles?"
Yet I have delayed because I desire something beyond the great revivals which the United
Kingdom has experienced in times past. Those revivals, and indeed, all revivals in the English-speaking world up until now have not only known a starting date, but also an ending date. This
time, it is My desire that you would not only press in for revival, but for a dealing with the roots
which have choked out the seedling revivals of the past. I desire for you to know a spiritual
awakening which would eclipse all past moves in your nations, and which would last until the
return of My Son, Jesus.
The roots which must be dealt a death blow are the roots of arrogance and of greed. These are deep, strong roots, which will not be fully dealt-with by a superficial approach. These root sins have expressed themselves in a colonialism which mixed true missionary zeal with arrogance and greed to such a degree that it deeply wounded your many "children". So much of My destiny for you among the nations was thwarted by carrying the gun alongside the Bible, and being more concerned with the building of your financial institutions than with the building of My Kingdom. You not only allowed great mixture in the Church, but exported it to the nations.
The same generation which brought so many godly institutions to the nations, also brought the
idolatry of Freemasonry to those same nations. Many planted not only the seeds of the Gospel,
but also the destructive seeds of greed.
And now the time has come for separating the wheat from the tares, that My great Harvest may
be brought in. But that separation must first come within My Body, and I am calling You to
seek me to reveal to you the depth of these roots of arrogance and greed, and to grant unto you a
very deep repentance, that will no longer tolerate such mixture. For I hate mixed seed. And I
will not allow that fulness of revival that you long for until there is a cleansing of your seeds, so
that as you go forth with this revival to the nations, it will be with pure seed which will only sow
blessing, and not mix it with the seeds which bring curses upon those lands.
To deal deeply with these roots, I will send many of you to the nations to hear their stories of
how their "father" has wounded them, and provoked them to anger. I will send many of you to
those former colonies and send many of their leaders to you, that there may be deep and true
repentance and reconciliation.
I desire especially to deal with the root of arrogance toward Israel, and my people the Jews. For many in the past, and many even now, have twisted My Word to deny My covenant faithfulness to them. They have touched "the apple of My eye". This thinly-veiled anti-Semitism plays into the hands of the spirit of anti-Christ, anti-Messiah, which has already manifested itself through the centuries in rage against My "anointed ones", My servant the Jewish people. It has refused to accept My sovereign right to choose vessels for specific usages. I call you to search your history, to search My Word, and to search your hearts. Only then will you realize why this sin against My people and My Land has acted as a dam, holding back the tidal wave of revival.
For have I not warned in My Word to beware of arrogance toward the roots I chose for you?
Have I not warned that those "wild olive branches" expressing that arrogance will eventually
provoke me to cut them off? So repent of this arrogance, asking forgiveness for centuries of sin
against My Jewish people, and beg of them to bless you, even as David begged the Gibeonites to
forgive and bless Israel, that the curse might be lifted off of the land.
No longer must you excuse the roots of arrogance and greed, seeking to theologically "justify"
them, and explaining them away. Allow My Spirit to reveal to you the depth of sin in these
areas. Allow My Spirit to bring you into true, deep repentance in these areas. And then, the dam
shall break, and My tidal wave will sweep across your isles, and carry many of you as signs of
great blessing and healing to the nations.
Even as Samson, realize the foolishness of your ways, which caused you to lose that which I had so freely given, and to fall short of the high destiny I had offered to you. Even as Samson, put your hands upon these two "pillars" of arrogance and greed, and see My Spirit come mightily upon you to break these two pillars which hold up a ceiling which keeps out the full rains of My presence. Then the full rains of My presence will fall upon your thirsty land. Then streams of renewal will flow together into a raging river of revival. Then you will finally know revival which has a starting date, and no ending date. And My heart will be satisfied and pleased.
