I have 6 childred, Richard L. Jr.,Wesley M., Christina M., Lisa C., Timothy J., Bethany A. Father was Harry S. Norwood, adopted by Wendell Melvin Norwood in about 1920 or 21 after the swine flue epidemic killed his father and brother. He has trace Norwoo s back to 15th century Scotland and England before that. I need to look over my records. I was born in Lowell Massachusetts. My three brothers and sisters in Greenfield, Mass where most live now.

I'm also very new and having trouble finding one of my husband's ancestors. These Norwood's are from Arkansas and possibly Tennessee. The last known link is a Rev. Thomas William Norwood who married a Salinda Pogue. He was born 2/1799 and died 6/1848. His wife was born 12/1807 and died 4/1891. They were married 10/1834 and had a son Thomas William Norwood, born 2/29/1840. He married twice and his 2nd wife was Belle Walden. I would like to find out who was the Rev. father and mother and where did he come from. I'm stumped. Great s
